ABOUT PSYCHANATOMY
Education with clarity and compassion
Psychology, recovery & wellness education
Psychanatomy is an evidence-informed educational platform dedicated to helping readers better understand psychological trauma, emotional abuse, relational dynamics, recovery, and everyday wellbeing through clear, compassionate, and carefully sourced content.

WHY PSYCHANATOMY
Understanding is a place to begin
People navigating toxic relationships, narcissistic abuse, emotional stress, recovery, or questions about their overall wellbeing often encounter information that is either overly complex, disconnected, or difficult to apply. Psychanatomy was created to help bridge that gap by translating research and established concepts into accessible educational resources that support understanding, reflection, and informed choices.
The platform emphasizes education over intervention. Its purpose is to help readers better understand their experiences, emotional and relational patterns, recovery processes, and the foundations of healthy living through evidence-informed and carefully sourced educational material.
THE PERSON BEHIND THE PLATFORM
Founder & perspective
Psychanatomy was founded by Dr. Imad Alkamal, an independent educational writer and researcher focused on trauma, relational psychology, emotional recovery, and evidence-informed wellness.
His work draws on scientific research to make complex topics in psychology, recovery, and healthy living clearer, more accessible, and more practical for everyday life.
Through Psychanatomy, he develops evidence-informed educational resources that help readers better understand emotional patterns, relational dynamics, recovery processes, and the foundations of wellbeing, including nutrition, sleep, movement, and healthy living. His work emphasizes careful sourcing, clarity, and compassionate, people-first communication.

Dr. Imad Alkamal
Dr. Alkamal holds a Dr. rer. nat. in molecular biology from Germany and has an academic background in pharmacy. His work with Psychanatomy is educational in nature and does not represent clinical psychological, psychotherapeutic, medical, or individualized healthcare practice.
Personal experience with toxic and emotionally harmful relationships has also contributed to the perspective behind Psychanatomy and to its emphasis on clarity, validation, and responsible communication.
The goal is not to offer quick fixes or prescriptive solutions, but to provide grounded educational resources that help readers better understand themselves, support their recovery, and make more informed choices about their wellbeing.
